Pilot project The automation challenge in Robotlyftet (PILAR)
Since its inception in 2003, Robotdalen has conducted around 300 productivity-enhancing feasibility studies on small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in the manufacturing industry. The purpose has been to investigate and facilitate companies' opportunities to invest in automation and robot solutions, in order to increase growth and competitiveness.
The feasibility studies, which were carried out under the working name Automation Challenge , have resulted in concrete proposals for companies' opportunities to invest. The completed feasibility studies have so far contributed to investments in new robot solutions worth more than a quarter of a billion kronor.
Collaboration in the pilot project PILAR
Since 2018, we are also involved in the project PILAR (Pilot project Automation Challenge in Robotlyftet) in collaboration with IUC (Industrial Development Centers), RISE IVF and Automation Region .
PILAR is supported by the Swedish Agency for Economic and Regional Growth , within the framework of the government's automation initiative Robotlyftet . The project will design effective initiatives to give Swedish industrial companies knowledge and the ability to develop in the field of automation / robotics.
Robotdalen's contributions to the project consist of training, seminars and mentorship for automation feasibility studies, in several places around Sweden.
